Trick or Treating!!

Ellie went trick or treating in our cul-de-sac, she loved seeing all the ghouls & goblins!! She did a great job, we were a little nervous that she might be scared of all the crazy costumes. She even handed out candy to the big kids. Ellie was a Black Little Kitty Cat, I had a hard time getting a good picture of her because she wouldn't stay still!! She wouldn't leave her cat ears on, so I had to improvise with pigtails - which I ended up loving! We did draw whiskers on her face but they don't show up in the pictures, she would not stay still for us to paint her nose - so she just had whiskers : ) Gigi, Uncle Kevie, Mimi, & Papa came over to see the kitty cat before she went trick or treating.

We left candy on the front door step for the trick or treaters while we were out. It looks like someone doesn't want to share, check out her pumpkin - she took all the candy out of our box & put it in her pumpkin!!

September & October

We have been on the GO, GO!! A quick update on what has been going on. Ellie has been busy chit chatting. She has begun making little sentences. Her new favorite thing to say is "I like it.", that one pharse is used for things she likes & dislikes!! She still loves to read & dance - she has added some new moves to her reportire. We went to our family farm for a BBQ. It was Ellie's first time at the Farm. It was very exciting & emotional to take Ellie to the Farm because it was a place of many childhood memories for me. It always brings back fun memories of my Daddy & me! This Halloween marked 6 years since my Dad has passed away, I think about him everyday & tell Ellie stories of her Granddaddy Thomas. Ellie has many wonderful Angels from above watching over her. While at the Farm Ellie enjoyed looking @ the cows, mingling w/ people she has never met before - I am sure Granddaddy Thomas got a kick out that : ) Adam's Grandma & Aunt Bobbie came in town, so we got to hang with them. It was so great seeing you both!! Adam's Grandaddy passed away this month, but we know he is at peace w/ great company!! We saw lots of family at his touching Memorial Service. We will miss you Great Granddaddy! Ellie with her Great Granddaddy, last year in September @ Frontera - one of Great Granddady's FAVORITE resturants!! We are so glad Ellie Kate & Great Granddaddy got to meet each other : ) we will tell her many stories about her sweet & funny Great Granddaddy.
