10 Months - A little late......

Ellie turned 10 months on the 11th. Her big thing this past month has been ALL her talking!! She says doggy, daddy, hey, & teeth on a daily basis - it is too cute! She also has been trying out new words like the "c" sound for cuz, Elmo, mamama, tee for tree, and of course alot of babbling : ) We went out to dinner last night, a waitress came by the table to ask if we wanted more tea. When Ellie heard her she stopped playing with Adam's menu, whipped her head around and said "tee tee". She makes us laugh more & more everyday!!! 10 month cutie growing big!

We celebrated Aunt Em's birthday a couple of weeks ago.

Ellie got to meet Mimi & Papa's doggy! She loved watching him, I think she gave him a few sweet pets too. I know she looks scared in this pic but she really was happy : )

Happy Easter!!

We had a nice Easter with family. The Easter bunny came to see Ellie Sunday morning and she loved all her gifts from him, especially Elmo - her face really lit up!! After doing Easter at home we hopped i nthe car & met Mimi, Papa, & Aunt Em at church. Ellie did a great job during the service, she was intrigued by the loud music. I was holding her and letting her look over my shoulder and I kept hearing her say "Hey". I looked back and there was a little boy smiling at her - I guess they were chatting. After church we had brunch at Mimi & Papa's house and the Easter bunny came to see Ellie there too. Thanks Easter bunny!!!!! We rushed over to Grammie's house so we could see cuz before he had to leave. We got some quick pictures, sorry cuz Carter we know you were very tired - thanks for waiting on us. After cuz & his mommy and daddy left we got to hang with Grammie & Uncle Kevie. Guess what the Easter bunny came to see Ellie there too! She is a lucky girl, thanks to all the Easter bunnies!!! It was great seeing everyone : ) Little bunny posing with her basket! I actually got crafty and made Ellie's Easter basket : )

Birthday Parties!!

We went to two 1st birthday parties on Saturday!! We went to our neighbor Sophie's birthday 1st then we headed to Snellville to go my friend Jess's niece & nephew 1st birthday. It was great seeing my old girl friends and introducing them to Ellie. Ellie was quite the social butterfly once again : ) She went to people she has never even met!! Tearful Mommy Moments

Two nights ago I was putting the Bear to bed. I was holding her singing nighttime prayers as we have done every night since she came home from hospital. After I got done singing I kissed her and said "night night" she stared at me then gave me a kiss on my mouth & then started giving her little open mouthed wet kisses all over my face!! I was trying so hard not to cry but it was impossible. As I was holding her I had a flashback of when she was newborn and how much she has changed. Once again another precious moment God has graced us with! I ran down stairs and said, "Babe touch my face it is so wet." Adam looked at me like I was crazy! Yesterday I answered my phone while Ellie was sitting on my lap. I said "Hey" to my friend on phone and my little friend on my lap said "Hey" - I cried again!!! Yes, I am going to be that proud Mommy that cries all the time........
