Daddy's Girl is Crawling (5/25/12)

 Emma has been working hard on her crawling.  She is crawling towards her favorite blocks!

Emma 9 months (5/17/12)

Our little Rosie is 9 months! 

Talking: She has been saying "Mama", "Uh oh", and "No no".  Mama is her favorite word she uses when pointing at her bottle, for me, her monkey, and her baby dolls.  The other day Adam was leaving and I said "I love you"to him,  Emma immediately mimicked it in sounds! Pretty awesome!
Favorite Songs:  Country of course!  Springstein by Eric Church and Pontoon by Little Big Towne.  She sings "Whoa Whoa" for Springstein and her face lights up when Pontoon comes on ; -) 
Favorite Books:  That is Not My Bunny  and  Nursery Rhymes.  She has a hard time sitting still for books but these seem to keep her attention the longest ;-)
Favorite Food:  Spaghetti and fruit
Milestones: crawling late 9 months, babbles, points, waves, signs more and stranger anxiety!!
Appearance: fuzzy light brown hair, blue eyes & chubbiness all over!!
Weight: 21 lbs 83%
Height: 27 inches 32%
Head: 45.5 cm 88%
Personality:  Happy girl unless you walk out of the room.
 Funny girl she loves to laugh and be silly.  She laughs after she sneezes - love it!!
 Starting to get into everything if we tell her "no" she makes a very sad face then starts to cry - working her magic already! 
Stands up for herself.  She lets Ellie know when she has had enough by pushing her away!!

Ellie's Last Day of 2 Year Old Preschool (5/15/12)

 Ohhh!! I just love this baby!!  Check out those two little teeth (8mths).

 Silly girl tickling Willow (Saxton's big sister).  Ellie sure loves the big kids!  She made lots of new big kid friends at Lunch Brunch this year.  She always came home talking about her Hello Kitty friend, she wore Hello Kitty shoes - hence the name. :-)  The big girls always called Elllie their baby but she quickly let them know, that she was not a baby!!

Emma 8 months and her friend Lillian 6 months

How can our Emma be 8 months already?!?! 4/17/12

8 Months

Happy happy girl!  Emma is just taking in the good life.  She is still a laid back happy baby! She loves to clap at music and when you say "yay".  She has starting making "Mmm" sounds.  Her  best sounds are still her squealing and loud monster noises that come from the back of her throat.  I never knew such a scary noise could come from something so cute and small ;-) She still rolls her ankles and wrists when she gets excited! I just love this, the excitment takes over her body. You can notice her little feet moving in the pictures below.  She loves her Sissy and the remote control!  She learns forward in the car seat so she can watch Ellie be silly in the car.  I love looking in the rearview mirror and seeing her leaning forward taking note of what Sissy is doing good or bad!  The Bean is also getting good with her finger food.  She still doesn't have much hair but she does have another tooth coming in up top!  We thought some of the fussy nights were due to her teeth but turns out Beanie has been battling chronic ear infections!  She recently had tubes put in and she did an awesome job! I will post pics from my phone soon.
