Christmas Morning 2011

Happy Birthday Jesus!!  We had a nice Christmas Morning celebrating with the girls, Grandaddy and Liz.  Ellie woke up at her nice usually early time and we headed downstairs to see what Santa brought her.  She was soooooo excited to see all the presents under the tree!  Her little surprised face was priceless.  We let Beanie sleep in a little since we had a big day in store for us.  Emma was her sweet little self on her first Christmas.  Ellie loved to showing Emma all her presents Santa brought her!

Christmas Eve 2011

This we Christmas Eve  we spent with Grandaddy and Liz!  We all went to our church, then had some soup at home, put out cookies and carrots for Santa and his Reindeer, and I think we even watched Christmas Vacation!!

A Visit with Santa 12/21/11

This year our neighbor decided to have Santa come to her house for pictures and cookies. It was a fantastic idea!! It was much better than standing in line at the mall and wondering who was going to have a melt down... Ellie wasn't so sure about Santa, she stood from a far and watched the him with the kids. She did not cry but she definitely kept her eyes on him and made sure I was close. He asked her what she wanted and she stood by me and whispered a Princess. Emma sat so sweetly on Santa's lap and we managed to get Ellie to stand beside him for a quick picture. Ellie had fun playing with all the kids. They all went outside to wave goodbye to Santa as he left in his truck!! Ellie was very concerned that he didn't have his sleigh!!! I am not sure why Santa decided to take his truck instead of his sleigh that evening???
