Appearance: Very blonde wavy hair, blue eyes, fair skin, and getting a little taller she is now in the 40th percentile in height, weight 22 lbs 18th percentile. I think she is working on her two year molars b/c she is drooling alot.
Personality: Loving, shy around strangers and new situations, chatter box around people she is familiar with, inquistive, likes to do things on her own, still gets frustrated easily but is now asking for help, funny, creative, vivid imagination, working her please & sad face to get her way, makes cute embarassed face, and empathetic.
Favorite Color: pink She likes for everything to be pink !! She has to use a pink spoon, eat out of her pink bowl, drink out of her pink cup, and if she notices I have put a different color bow in her hair she insists that she needs her pink bow.
Favorite Shows: Little Einsteins, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, My Favorite Pets (it is a video from one of her books & she is OBSESSED with it) and CMT Music Videos. We were watching CMT one morning and a Taylor Swift video came on. Ellie stopped what she was doing and said "Hey Mommy Taylor Swifter is on......I like her......this is my favorite song." : )
Favorite Songs: Ellie LOVES music and singing. She knows about every word to numerous nursery rhymes. She is ALWAYS singing!!! One night at dinner she broke out in song singing "You Are So Beautiful To Me". I sing this song to her but she has never sang along with me and out of the blue she sang the chorus. My mom always sang this song to me so it touched my heart when Ellie was singing it at the dinner table. Here are a list of the songs that she sings more than others; Baa Baa Black Sheep, Bringing Home a Baby Bumblebee, Head Shoulders Knees & Toes, If You are Happy and You Know It, Alouette, Twinkle Twinkle, You Are So Beautiful To Me, Undo It (Carrie Underwood), Mean (Taylor Swifter) and Stuck Like Glue (Sugarland).

Big Girl Things: Counts to 16 then mumbles to 20; Imitates reading using her finger pointing to words and retells the story; identifies shapes - triangle, circle, square, and talks about hexagons; recognizes that red means stop and green means go; recognizes colors - pink, green, white, brown, yellow, black, and orange; becoming more succesful in dressing herself; speaks in clear sentences; conversational; and loves imaginary play with her baby dolls/kitchen.

~"What's that song could be?" (This is what she says when she wants to know the name of the song or if it is a song she likes.)
~"Mommy you are so beautiful."

~ She likes to use the phrase "Guys", i.e. " Hey guys look at me!". I am trying to change this to "Y'all" since we are from the south....... Not sure where she got "Guys" from???
~ She also is trying to shorten Mommy and Daddy to "Mom" and "Dad". I am not ready for this!!
~ "Why?" She puts her hands up and cocks her head to side as she questions what we have said.

Ellie has been picking flowers then she digs a little hole and places the flower in the hole. She also plays mommy and baby flower.
Loves Art! This would be water color paint all over her hands. She likes to paint her hands then make hand prints & polka dots - Messy but letting her creativity lead the way : )
