How can our Emma be 8 months already?!?! 4/17/12

8 Months

Happy happy girl!  Emma is just taking in the good life.  She is still a laid back happy baby! She loves to clap at music and when you say "yay".  She has starting making "Mmm" sounds.  Her  best sounds are still her squealing and loud monster noises that come from the back of her throat.  I never knew such a scary noise could come from something so cute and small ;-) She still rolls her ankles and wrists when she gets excited! I just love this, the excitment takes over her body. You can notice her little feet moving in the pictures below.  She loves her Sissy and the remote control!  She learns forward in the car seat so she can watch Ellie be silly in the car.  I love looking in the rearview mirror and seeing her leaning forward taking note of what Sissy is doing good or bad!  The Bean is also getting good with her finger food.  She still doesn't have much hair but she does have another tooth coming in up top!  We thought some of the fussy nights were due to her teeth but turns out Beanie has been battling chronic ear infections!  She recently had tubes put in and she did an awesome job! I will post pics from my phone soon.
 

Atlanta Zoo (4/14/12)

Ellie and Emma enjoyed their first trip to the Atlanta Zoo.  We went with Mimi and Papa on a beautiful day in April, it was a great day not too hot or stinky!!  Emma enjoyed looking at all animals while someone was holding her, she much rather be held then cruise in the stroller :-)  She was a sweet little baby!!  Ellie had a big time looking at the animals and feeding/grooming them.  Ellie's favorites were the flamingos and pandas!!  Mimi & Papa bought her a flamingo & panda - that was quite a highlight too!

I could have watched the Gorillas all day!!  It was fascinating watching him think about how to crack the coconut.  I loved how he would scratch his head becuase he was so puzzled.

Easter Day 2012
